Holds (reserves) are free. Hold items are couriered to the library branch you most frequently use, and you will be notified when it's ready to collect.
Staff can place holds for you, or you can easily do it yourself online or using our app.
Search for the item in our catalogue. The search result will let you know whether we have it, what format it's in (physical or electronic), and whether it's available.
When you place a hold, we will grab it for you (if it’s available now, or when it’s returned) and keep it aside for you to pick up (within 10 days). We'll let you know by email or phone, and it also shows up in your online account.
Should you change your mind about a hold, you can drop the hold through your online account, in the app, or talk to a staff member.
If we do not have the item you're after, you might like to place an interloan request.
This, and your membership number, are used to login to our app, catalogue, or any of our digital services.
