Adult Winter Reading Challenge

2 June to 31 August 2026

Our popular adult reading challenge is back! Borrow any Libraries Tararua title during this period (either physical book or one of our ebooks or eaudio from Libby or Borrowbox), record the title in the booklet, and hand it in at the end of the time.

Challenge booklets can be collected from any library branch from Monday 25 May onwards, or print one yourself 

• Prize 1 - a random draw from all qualifying entries for a $200 Prezzy Card
• Prize 2 - read the most titles of anyone participating to win a $200 Prezzy Card

This year, there are five 'paths' to choose from - travel, romance, history, mystery/thriller and fantasy. There are five challenges per path. Complete as many individual challenges or paths as you like, but the more you do, the more entries you earn into the random draw!
